The Alyssa Project

The purpose of this page is to provide photography services to individuals with children who have special needs, similar to the inspiring young lady who motivated me to establish this group, Alyssa. Following an informal session with Alyssa and her parents, Gem and Ricky, I recognized that a significant portion of our communities often neglect or even stigmatize these children. I am committed to addressing this issue by offering a service that prioritizes the needs of these special children and their parents. This service can encompass individual photography sessions or social gatherings where parents and children come together for a day of socializing and capturing memories through photographs. To ensure accessibility, I will minimize my costs and primarily charge for any photographs purchased. I am fully insured and have undergone a comprehensive DBS check for peace of mind.

Throughout my career, I have dedicated over two years to working with children with special needs, assisting them with varying abilities. Subsequently, I transitioned into adult mental health within the NHS for over two decades. I do not perceive the daily challenges faced by these children and their parents; instead, I focus on their inherent beauty and potential. To provide additional reassurance, I am fully insured and have undergone a thorough DBS check.
